HoYoverse Introduces Playable Character 'Billy Kid' in a New Trailer for Zenless Zone Zero
Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail developer HoYoverse is amping things up ahead of the closed beta launch of its next free-to-play title, Zenless Zone Zero. Billy Kid, one of the many playable characters in Zenless Zone Zero, is featured in a new trailer for the game and shows off ZZZ’s colorful, action-combat gameplay.
A member of the Gentle House AKA Cunning Hares mercenaries, Billy Kid is described as a “handsome cyborg with a casual and carefree personality.” Billy’s a superfan of the Starlight Knight show and even refers to himself as one of the characters, often quoting the show during combat. Billy wields a pair of custom-made revolvers he calls “the girls” that were a gift from an old friend.
Zenless Zone Zero is an urban fantasy action RPG with roguelike elements. In the game, players play as ‘Proxies’ and find themselves tasked with helping others navigate the game’s dangerous alternate dimensions called Hollows. Players will recruit additional heroes to their crew throughout the game and can even combine the abilities of characters to devastating effect.
Zenless Zone Zero will release on consoles, PC, and mobile. No release date has been announced just yet.
