Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 launches with much faster movement than Modern Warfare 2, including speedier sprint times, more-fluid sliding and mantling, and the introduction of the tac-stance mechanic. This new movement might feel a bit jarring for you, so we'll use this guide to help if you want to disable it.
Modern Warfare 3's Tac-Stance is meant to offer a middle ground between hip-firing and aiming down sights. Tac-Stance will now be disabled in-game. Obviously, this isn't permanent so you can always turn the setting back on to give it another try. You also have the option to change how you activate Tac-Stance. The default option is ADS + Down button, but you have a few choices for how you'd want the mechanic to activate.
