Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater Delta was revealed earlier this year, which will bring back Naked Snake for another trek across the jungle in what is now one of next year's most highly anticipated games. To get Metal Gear fans even more excited, Xbox and Konami have teamed to up to showcase some gameplay from the remake for the very first time, giving us a closer look at Snake skulking through swamps, blending into his surroundings, and much more.
While the trailer is simply an in-engine demonstration and only showcases pre-alpha footage, it's our best look at how Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater Delta will play when it finally releases. The portion of gameplay that is revealed is a brief look at the beginning of Snake's mission, as he skulks around the crocodile infested swamps while taking down patrolling baddies.

We get to see some climbing animations, Snake taking a guard hostage, and a brief look at the game's first person mode, which can be switched into when prone just like in the original. We also see Snake using a different camo jumpsuit during an approach towards an enemy base, so we can probably assume that the game's camoflague mechanics have been kept in tact.
The rest of the trailer is varying shots of the environment, which is probably an attempt by Konami to showcase the engine and what it can do. Rather surprisingly, Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater Delta is being made with Unreal Engine 5 this time around, instead of the Fox engine that Konami has been using for the majority of its more recent Metal Gear Solid titles.
