Baldur's Gate 3 and Alan Wake 2 are the joint winners of The Game Awards so far, with eight nominations each. Both games are also up for Game of the Year, as it could be a race between the two sequels to take home the big prize.

For the main GOTY award, the pair will be up against The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, and Resident Evil 4.
