Last week The Last of Us Part II Remastered was revealed to the world, with Sony and Naughty Dog promising new visual modes, cut levels, the new “No Return” roguelike mode, and more. Now, courtesy of a new TLOU2 Remastered website, we have a bit more detail on some of these features.
First, on those restored “lost levels” – per The Last of Us Part II Remastered website, they’ll be named Sewers, Jackson Party, and Boar Hunt. We don’t know exactly what these levels will entail or where they’ll place in the overall narrative, but we can make some educated guesses. Jackson Party likely expands the moment early in the game where Ellie and Dina make their first romantic connection – likely you’ll be able to explore a festive Jackson a bit more. The Sewers seem like they would make sense somewhere around the Hospital section in Ellie’s campaign. As for the Boar Hunt, you’ve got me. Maybe a flashback?
