Remember back in March when we told you that Blizzard was going to announce a brand new Warcraft mobile game in May? Well, we’re four days into May and Blizzard has just revealed Warcraft Arclight Rumble. So there you go.
The game looks like it takes a lot of ideas from the likes of Clash Royale – we’re looking at a sort of lite-MOBA, with plenty of different characters to collect and throw into battle. Here’s a trailer – the first of three – that shows off the gameplay.
There’s going to be a single player campaign, as well as PvP and co-operative multiplayer. And it looks pretty good. Those minis are pretty neat, and we imagine you’re going to be able to buy them in the real world at some point. Synergy.
The second trailer is a cinematic one, and it’s also pretty good. Shall we watch it? We’ll embed it and let you make up your own mind whether you want to press play.
And since we’re in an embedding mood, here’s a developer overview that talks you through plenty of the what’s-what and why’s-that behind the creation of the game.
You can pre-register for the game with your battle.net account, and find out more about it, by checking out the official Warcraft Arclight Rumble website right here.
And the game is already live for pre-registration on the Play Store. So if you’d like to do that, you can click right here. There’s no word of a release date for Warcraft Arclight Rumble as of yet, but apparently there’s a closed beta on the way. We’ll keep you updated as and when we hear more.
