Blizzard Entertainment's upcoming mobile title, Warcraft Arclight Rumble, has already been deemed a Clash of Clans knockoff in some circles. Hints about a Warcraft-branded mobile game made the rounds earlier this year, courtesy of a report from journalist Jason Schreier that claimed such an experience would launch sometime in 2022. Blizzard later confirmed plans to share concrete details about the mobile project in May.
Of course, this doesn't mark Blizzard Entertainment's first foray into the mobile space. In 2014, for instance, the developer and publisher hit pay dirt upon rolling out free-to-play collectible card game Hearthstone, which further expanded the magical world of Warcraft on PC, Mac, Android, and iOS platforms. And Diablo Immortal serves as the company's next major release, since the free-to-play action RPG will land on mobile devices and PC this coming June.
