After releasing the massive update 2.0, Black Border 2 has released yet another one, Update 2.1. Although not as massive as its predecessor, this one also brings new features to the game. The devs took community feedback seriously and patched up a bunch of issues as well.
One of the biggest additions to Black Border 2 is the arrival of five new wanted characters with Update 2.1. You’ll find them at level 36. These are not average passport-waving travellers and could be in fact trouble.
So, you have to catch them before they slip through. Keep your eyes peeled, because if one sneaks past, you’ll have to answer for it.
Next, conversations at the border got a little livelier too. There are also some new emotes, so now the people you’re interrogating will show more personality as they try to charm, plead or frustrate you.
The new update tweaked the bribery system of Black Border 2 a little too. Instead of randomly popping up, bribes now only appear when you reject someone’s request. So, every decision you make carries more weight now.
There’s also a small but welcome change with base rewards. When you build something, you’ll get your rewards instantly instead of waiting.
And lastly, there are enhanced audio and visual effects. It includes new sound effects for stamping and document handling and animations for warning papers, vehicle spins and manual inspections.
The team is already working on Update 2.2, which will introduce a brand-new Story Mode. Also, Black Border 2 is officially in development for the Nintendo Switch. You can check out the latest update by grabbing the game from the Google Play Store.
