Old School RuneScape Launches the Royal Titans with a Dual Boss Encounter
Fire and ice are clashing in Old School RuneScape with the latest Royal Titans update of the game. You can step into the middle of an all-out war between the two colossal forces now. Were you looking forward to these PvM bosses? Keep reading to find out all about them.
The fire giants are led by Brandr, the Fire Queen. While the ice giants are led by Eldric, the King of Frost. The fire giants get a little too ambitious and decide they need more space. Their expansion efforts lead them straight into the Asgarnian Ice Cave.
It’s already occupied by the ice giants who call upon Eldric to put an end to the fiery invasion. So, the two legendary titans of fire and ice go head-to-head and you can be a part of it too. It’s a Dual Boss encounter, so you’re squaring off against both Brandr and Eldric at the same time.
You’ll need to switch gear on the fly to counter their elemental weaknesses because sticking to one strategy won’t work. Instead of going solo, you can also grab a friend and tackle the battle together.
Taking down the Royal Titans gets you a shot at the Twinflame Staff, a powerful weapon, and the Giantsoul Amulet. The latter is an untradeable teleport that lets you warp straight to any of the three major giant bosses: Obor, Bryophyta and the Royal Titans.
The battle of the Royal Titans in Old School RuneScape brings tons of goodies. You can snag some valuable Prayer Scrolls, Desiccated Pages and a Fire & Ice giant pet.
If you’re grinding Slayer XP, the Royal Titans introduce a brand-new Slayer Alternative Task. So, you can now gain XP by fighting fire and ice giants while taking on the boss itself.
Meanwhile, OSRS is celebrating its 12th birthday on February 19th. So, there’s a special birthday livestream, in-game decorations and new cosmetic rewards.
