Baldur's Gate 3 has quite a few skill checks that you need to overcome in the form of tough fights. One of these is the mechanical mountain that is Grym, which you'll encounter deep in the bowels of the Grymforge. It hits like a truck, has a bunch of health, and you have to fight it in an arena full of lava. Either that, or you could just drop a really big bear on it.
That's exactly what Reddit user Tawxif_iq did when they and their party of friends eventually reached the Grym boss fight. For those unaware, dropping an Owlbear on tough opponents is a very common strategy for dealing with potential difficulty spikes, though it seems like Tawxif_iq and their party didn't have the foresight to get an Owlbear for their trip to the Grymforge.
Thankfully, there was a Druid on hand to fulfill all the party's bear needs (whatever they might be), and was the perfect stand in for the devastatingly powerful Owlbear that players usually use. With two players down in the arena to turn the nearby cranks and activate the Grym boss fight, Tawxif_iq and their bear friend stood up high and readied themselves by casting Enlarge.
With a single jump and a bunch of different buffs, the now massive bear leaps down into the arena, completely disregarding their own personal safety, and onto the poor defenseless Grym, taking it out in a single hit. Even though they knew exactly what they were doing, the reaction from the party was one of surprise, as maybe they didn't actually know just how powerful a bear landing on you at mach speeds could be.
