When Larian Studios confirmed in early 2024 that it wasn't developing any DLC or expansions for, fans were disappointed given that several character conclusions felt rushed and ended in an unsatisfying manner. Over on Nexus Mods, creators Magnetuning and Aimryax shared «Brighter Star,» an additional Act 3 romance scene for the moody Warlock Wyll which provides some more context to his character. The new moment with Wyll features dialogue, brings back a cuddling animation that was accessible in the game's early access build, and even allows Tav to comfort their companion after "."

To see the Brightest Star once the mod is installed, players will need to complete a few prerequisites. Fortunately, they're not too difficult and make sense given the context of the emotional moment. The most important (and obvious) is that players must be partnered with Wyll; additionally, the Warlock must break his pact with Mizora as the modders note that the scene won't play if they share an eternal bond.

With these simple steps complete, players will need to approach Wyll at the Docks camp and start a conversation with him. The clip in question is somewhat brief but the additional lore, even if it's non-canon, should make fans of the Warlock pleased that they installed the mod.
