Since the recent merger of ArcheAge andArcheAge: Unchained, there have been some updates and patches, but the December update adds new content to take on, including a return to Mistmerrow, a new boss, and more PvE options too.
The update comes as Kakao Games and XL Games prepare for 2024 in the game, and the inclusions should keep players busy into the new year. First up, The Battle of Mistmerrow is returning. The PvP instance pits the Nuia and Haranya factions up against the Pirates. While the first two factions compete to destroy a series of Bloodspires in Mistmerrow, the Pirates are continuously rebuilding them. Victory means Honor Points, Mistmerrow WArrior Tokens and more.
Other challenges are also on the way. For the PvE-oriented, world bosses will start spawning twice a day in one of eight conflict zone locations in Haranya and Nui regions. After defeating them, you also have a chance to encounter something new, Roaring Astor. This is a mythic-grade raid boss that, if you manage to slay, could drop some top tier loot, including Locked Gold Crates and Lucid World Boss infusions.
A special event is happening through January 11th with a number of valuable rewards up for grabs, including Mythic Grade Immortal Warden Equipment.
There are a number of other improvements on the way to help make the player experience better, as well as to encourage new and returning players to progress their characters in a more satisfying and efficient way. One step they will take is to make Erenor equipment easier to get and also to upgrade, with reduced resources needed. Other changes range from the almost aspirational, like a new max damage cap from 150,000 to 250,000, others are more practical, like increasing some item stack caps
