Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is officially coming to PS5, initially launching on PC and Xbox in 2022. Faithful servants of the Emperor of Mankind can serve Him by battling Nurgle's endless, rotting hordes in intense four-player cooperative gameplay from 3rd December.
A co-op survival shooter in the vein of the Left 4 Dead franchise, the zombies here are the rotting, pustulent servants of the Plague God. In addition, Grandfather Nurgle's mortal forces are bolstered by all manner of disgusting Warp abominations, like Plaguebearers and the inevitable Great Unclean Ones.
Embarking on a fresh crusade, it appears the 40K universe is alive and well on PS5. Space Marine 2 is to be largely credited for this new Golden Age; in addition to being a great game, it appears to have opened the eyes of those (heretics) yet to see the Emperor's light. We'll take every opportunity to sing the praises of Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, a turn-based CRPG that is excellent on the lore/narrative front and just got a worthy expansion in Void Shadows, and Darktide is another welcome addition.

I played it on PC and ultimately thought the game was fun, but I was not happy with the performance. My PC blew away the recommended specs, but the frame rate would fluctuate wildly.
I love Warhammer 40K and I enjoyed the game overall, despite the samey levels, so I hope those interested give it a chance and the game is more optimized on PS5.
Looks like a lot of fun. I loved the left 4 dead franchise and I still play back 4 blood
