Another Day One PS Plus Extra Game Available to Download Now | Push Square
PS Plus Extra has delivered the second of three PS5 games it has slated to arrive on the service the moment it releases across April and May 2024. Tales of Kenzera: ZAU is rolling out now across the UK, Europe, and the USA. Dave the Diver was already made available with the general April 2024 service refresh, then the third day one title Animal Well launches on 9th May 2024.
Unfortunately, we came away fairly disappointed in the game made available today, but maybe PS Plus Extra members will find something to enjoy. In our Tales of Kenzera PS5 review, we concluded: «A Metroidvania in only the most basic of ways, its combat and platforming are spoilt by basic design and structure, as well as controller issues and frustrating one-hit kills. At its best when left to simply tell its story, Tales of Kenzera: ZAU falters once you have to start playing.»

The 5/10 Push Square review was honest, but obviously only one player's opinion. Seems many reviewers liked this a lot more and it's sitting on a healthy enough 76 on open/meta critic. Might be worth your time.
Anyone else think “PS Plus Extra” is kinda redundant? Guess I never thought of it before b/c PS+ Extra makes me think of it as 2 different things but spelled out like that it looks kinda stupid. PS More More
