Currently, has eight playable characters, including two unlockable characters to choose from for foam-spreading shooter fun. Though more are coming in future seasons to the game, these eight already cover many abilities and gameplay styles, and all have a variety of unique outfits that can be purchased or unlocked to customize them. Whether someone is a fan of shooting from long range or prefers to be up close in the middle of the action, there is a character that fits almost every type of preferred playstyle.

is a cheerful 4v4 party shooter that has many different modes, with many game modes that will not allow teams to have more than one of the same character on the same team. Therefore, it is a good idea for everyone to become familiar with more than one character so that if another team member chooses the player's preferred character, they aren't left struggling. None of the characters are bad to play, although some might be more challenging than others.

One fun aspect of is the solo missions mode, which allows players to not only learn how to play each character by going through a series of private missions with them but also gives the backstory for each character. Agito is a difficult character to master in multiplayer, as he often becomes eliminated before he is able to get close enough to use his shotgun effectively. Despite this, his backstory is one of the most entertaining, telling a bit about the story of his Pro-Gamer career, complete with his own official Commentator.

Jet Justice is an absolute tank of a character who has strong, powerful hits when they land. Sadly, his biggest downfall is that he is also one of the most difficult to aim with and seems to be a slower character than other options. His special skills offer a little of everything, with a shield that can defend team members and block enemy foam and a surprise attack where he jumps high into the air and slams back down onto the ground, hopefully in front of some enemies.
