One of the creators of Terraria has taken to social media to respond to the latest update announcement for Stardew Valley. The announcement of the 1.6 update for Stardew Valley came on the life simulator’s milestone anniversary and has sparked further interest in the indie game.
Thanks to strong word of mouth and generally favorable reviews, interest in the life sim has been strong over the years. Stardew Valley even had a short-term 50% discount on Steam for the game’s eighth anniversary. Fans promptly acted on the 24-hour flash sale, which saw Stardew Valley rocket toward the top of the Steam charts and is currently the fifth-best-selling game on the platform.
