You can make all collectibles appear on your maps in Alan Wake 2, at least when you're playing as Saga.

Alan Wake 2 has numerous collectible types and goodies for you to acquire as you explore vast areas. Sometimes, you might feel like you've missed out on items and you don't know where they are. Thankfully, there's an accessory that shows you where they might be. Our guide discusses the Alan Wake 2 Mayor Setter Charm which reveals all collectibles, points of interest, and resources when playing as Saga Anderson. Likewise, please be reminded that this guide contains minor spoilers.
The Alan Wake 2 Mayor Setter Charm comes from, you guessed it, the Mayor Setter placards in Bright Falls and Watery. There are six that you need to find in total. Before we talk about their locations, here are a few important tidbits:
There are a few Alan Wake 2 Mayor Setter placards found in Bright Falls. As far as we can tell, two are readily seen during your first visit and at any time thereafter, while the third is from a later chapter.
There are three Mayor Setter placards scattered all over the village of Watery. The good news is that you can tag all of them during the same chapter due to how you'll progress via objectives. You can always revisit Watery later if you missed something.
After tagging all six placards, it's time to meet Mayor Setter in Alan Wake 2. Simply head to Downtown Watery and enter the Suomi Hall (i.e. bar) near where your car is parked.
As you may have guessed based on the words used in the slogan--i.e. sit, roll over, stand, speak, rough--Mayor Setter is actually a dog! Go ahead and pet him to earn «The Nice Things in Life» achievement. You'll also see in your inventory that you've got the Mayor
