The identity of Metal Gear Solid 3's Eva (AKA Tatyana, Matka Pluku, Big Mama), the iconic spy who fought alongside Naked Snake and appeared in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, has finally been revealed. Listed in the credits as «Suzetta Miñet» back in the day, this was actually a pseudonym created to protect the family-friendly image of Jodi Benson, probably best known as the voice of Ariel, The Little Mermaid, the 1989 animated Disney classic.
Benson lent her lilting tones to Barbie in Toy Story and Thumbelina from Thumbelina, too; perhaps a wise move then, keeping her work on Hideo Kojima/Konami's gritty tactical espionage action series confidential. The tidbit comes out of the Metal Gear Solid — Official Legacy Series documentary (thanks, IGN), and as you might have guessed, Benson will reprise the role in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, which still has a 2024 window, so keep an eye out for an imminent date (or potential delay).
Nearly 22 inches of Naked Snake
