It is very hard to find, nearly impossible for some, as there is no way to purchase the seed as is; it is purely reliant on luck.
Ancient seeds are usually found when plowing artifact spots, areas that look like worms are sticking out of them. When digging up these spots, it can give players an ancient seed, as an artifact, that then can either be crafted into a plantable ancient seed or donated to the museum in exchange for it.
