Gear Up for New Year’s During the Glacier Dice Event in Play Together!
Bundle up and head to Kaia Island because it’s winter and some terrifically cool or rather ‘cold’ stuff is going down. The Glacier Dice Event is live in Play Together, bringing an avalanche of fun activities. You’ll get to mine icy treasures, craft magical pets and gear up for New Year’s festivities.
In the Glacier Dice event, you’ll encounter glaciers all over the island of Play Together. And they didn’t just show up for no reason. Apparently, Aurora the Ice Queen, protector of the North Pole, is causing the huge icy chunks to sprout all over Kaia Island.
Your mission during the event is to channel your inner explorer, mine the glaciers and help restore her powers. These glaciers are loaded with items like Aurora Gems and Glacier Dice. You can use the gems to craft wintery items at the workshop and the dice to get into the Glacier Die board game event.
In the board game event, every roll gives you a shot at collecting Gems, in-game currency and a Glacier Die Box. Crack that box open, and you might score a winter-themed item or a piece of the Aurora the Ice Queen costume set.
If you like crafting, make sure to swing by the Plaza and meet Yuri, the go-to NPC for the Glacier Event Workshop. She has some next-level creations up for grabs, like magical Snowflake Pets. There’s a Snowflake Penguin, Chipmunk, Fox and Wolf whom you can make your companions.
Also, log in daily during the Glacier Dice event to get cosy Play Together rewards. There’s a super cute Snowflake Penguin Sweater that you can snag by checking in for seven days straight.
As we say goodbye to 2024, Kaia Island is gearing up for a New Year’s bash to remember. NPC Haru is hanging out in the Plaza, handing out free 2025 Hats and selling other fun items like 2025 Sunglasses, Balloons and a Happy New Year Firework.
And finally, on December 31st, the countdown to 2025 is happening. When the clock strikes midnight, brace yourself for a fireworks show that’ll light up the island in style. Check the game out
