Warhorse Studios’ Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has received some extensive gameplay courtesy of IGN Forest, and it offers a look at the opening 43 minutes. The story begins with Godwin, a soldier who helps defend a fort from an opposing army’s siege, but it’s not long before we’re taken back several weeks to Henry of Skalitz.
Riding through the countryside with his troop (including longtime ally Sir Hans Capon), they eventually run into opposing soldiers. It’s here the player can choose one of three playstyles for Henry – Soldier (good at fighting), Adviser (excels at speech), and Scout (stealthy). You’ll receive some starting experience points but must decide what traits to take afterwards.
This seemingly implies the ability to dabble in hybrid playstyles, though we’ll need to see more. The rest of the gameplay showcases Henry and Hans sparring (which familiarizes players with the combat), the dice mini-game, and more.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 launches on February 11th, 2025, for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Check out some more gameplay here.
