features 152 unique and puzzling shrines, and although some shrines are terrible and should be avoided, many others are incredibly entertaining and rewarding. There are, however, a few shrines that are almost comically difficult. Whether it is as a result of challenging entry requirements, strategies, combat, or simply mind-bending puzzles, is home to some of the most complex shrines in any game from franchise.
Completing the many shrines located around Hyrule affords Link several worthwhile bonuses — from an increase in Hearts and Stamina to some seriously impressive rewards — including a reward for beating every shrine in the game. Beyond these tangible benefits, some of the most entertaining, exciting, and challenging aspects of can be found hidden away in the over 150 shrines, undeniably making the exploration of shrines one of the best parts of an already fantastic game.

The Orochium shrine is undoubtedly one of the most infuriatingly difficult in all of. Located in the Hybra Mountains, the Orochium shrine is typified by its incredibly disorientating labyrinth layout. However, the confusion extends beyond the layout with a poorly explained puzzle involving lasers — some of which must be avoided, and others must be tripped. Tripping the correct laser beam will open a trap door, allowing Link to experience an additional tricky aspect of the shrine — navigating the shrine whilst maneuvering an orb through a multi-level maze.
