Diablo 4 has a brand new season live now, Season of Blood, and there are new Unique items, new story questline, and of course, lots of vampires to learn to defeat by using their own blood powers. There’s also a Xbox Free Play Days weekend starting today, including Diablo 4.
Season of Blood debuted slightly later than it originally announced since Blizzard had to fix some last-minute issues. However, the season launched, with a different issue that required temporary suspension of cross play, which is now completely restored. Speaking of platforms, Diablo 4 also made its debut on Steam.
The new season has all the vampiric powers and action you're looking for, as well as a whole host of new cosmetics, balance changes, and of course, loot. There's plenty for the treasure hunters to seek out, In addition to new items being added, the team has also added several endgame bosses that have a chance to drop some pretty great gear.
Microsoft has announced that Diablo 4 will be included in its next Xbox Free Play Days weekend. Available to Xbox Game Pass core and Game Pass Ultimate members starting today, October 19th and running through October 22nd at 11:59 p.m. PDT, are several games with full access. Those are NBA 2K24, Lawn Mowing Simulator, and Hokko Life.
Diablo 4 is also available to download for all Xbox members during this time period, without any paid Game Pass membership required. However, playtime will be limited to 10 hours. Microsoft is also offering a discount on the full game should you like the trial and want to add it to your permanent collection.
