EA has designed a lot of buildings and lots over the course of ’s release. At first, these were mostly residential buildings and other living staples like gyms, museums, and bars. But with the release of many packs, lot types have also greatly expanded. This has included new and stunning designs for nightclubs, restaurants, retail stores, cemeteries, wedding venues, apartments, and more. Some lots are public, while others can be rented or fully owned with enough money.
As time has gone on, EA-made and EA-curated have begun to blur. Several lots with the Maxis username were first designed by Sims content creators like Lilsimsie, who made an official lot for. In some cases, these lots also have pre-made families you can schmooze your way into. All of this is an agreement by EA to let diehard players get early access to game betas, but allow the creations to be part of the Maxis brand. With this in mind, several of “EA’s best lots” aren’t technically made by the company.
In the base game and several early expansions, gyms were one of the go-to lots in every world. These venues are great for Sim self-care and general health. But, eventually, having a dedicated themed gym was no longer included. Among the possible candidates, Pectoral Fitness is the most rounded among functionality and aesthetics.
Pectoral Fitness is a 30x30 lot within the downtown area of Starlight Boulevard. On the first floor, the changing rooms and large pool are quickly accessible. The upstairs includes four treadmills, four weight machines, and two punching bags. There is an area to place yoga mats if is installed. There is also a private office to do some additional work or reading.
