PlayStation has revealed this month’s lineup of. Included are some fan-favorite PS5 games. Exclusive to Premium subscribers is a classic PS2 Indiana Jones game.
Originally released for PS2 in 2009, Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings is one of two classics just for PS Plus subscribers. This port of the third-person action-adventure game gets several improvements, including up-rendering, rewinding, quick saving, and custom video filters. The second game is Medievil 2, a sequel to the PS1 classic starring PlayStation icon Sir Daniel Fortesque.
“Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings, originally released in 2009 on PlayStation 2, takes you on a perilous, around-the-world quest for the staff of Moses,” reads PlayStation’s description of the game.
Both PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers are treated to some incredible games this month. Here is the full list of games coming to the service on January 21, 2025:
It should be noted that PS4 games can also be played on a PS5.
There are several great games to highlight here, but if you’re a PS5 owner and have yet to play God of War Ragnarok, now is a good time. It is one of the most critically acclaimed games for the platform, garnering a 94 on the review aggregate site Metacritic. It also gained a plethora of nominations at The Game Awards and won several awards, including Best Narrative, in the process.
