Hearthstone is set to drop The Great Dark Beyond Mini-Set: Heroes of StarCraft. Some of the iconic factions are invading Hearthstone with this set. It officially rolls out on January 21st, and there are tons of quests and challenges coming your way along with it.
Normally, Mini-Sets give 38 cards, but this one will have 49. And that includes 4 Legendary cards, 1 Epic, 20 Rares and 24 Commons. So, that makes it the biggest Mini-Set Hearthstone’s ever done. And it’s not just about size, it has variety too.
Each StarCraft faction brings 5 multi-class cards, with a special neutral card, Grunty, stomping in as the star of the show.
You can dive into The Great Dark Beyond Hearthstone packs to crack the Heroes of StarCraft Mini-Set open. Or you can unlock the complete 94-card set directly. The standard Mini-Set goes for 2500 Gold and there’s an all-Golden version for 12,000 Gold.
First up, the Zerg are the ones who swarm the board and overwhelm opponents. They have Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Hunter and Warlock on their team, with Sarah Kerrigan leading the charge. If you like generating an army of tokens, this faction is your vibe.
Then there’s the Protoss. These Druid, Mage, Priest and Rogue allies, led by High Templar Artanis, are all about big plays. They bring high-cost cards that get cheaper over time, leading to massive, explosive turns.
And finally, the Terran includes Paladin, Shaman and Warrior with Jim Raynor being the fearless leader. They bring Starship synergies, letting you launch multiple Starships per game. Their highlight is The Battlecruiser. It has new art and the Mech minion type.
If you have a Signature Starship piece in your arsenal, you’ll score the Signature-art version of the Battlecruiser. So, get Hearthstone from the Google Play Store and grab the Heroes of StarCraft Mini-Set once it drops.
