The bestrecipes and food in are essential to know for a great survival run-through. They stabilize your hungerlevel in the game so you do not die in the open world. However, if you have Pals at your party, you must feed them, too. This now involves a stat called Sanity, which food can affect.
To start making recipes for certain foods, you will need several structures. On your base, start by creating Berry and other food plantations, like getting Wheat in . Then, make a Ranch so that certain Pals can farm more ingredients. Next, build a Mill to make Flour. Finally, cooking your ingredients can be done with a Campfire, a Cooking Pot, and an Electric Kitchen.
For early-game Pals, cooking Baked Berries is the best way to go. It provides both Nutrition and Sanity in small portions for small Pals. To start a steady production of food, craft a Berry Plantation, Campfire, and a Feed Box. Put a Kindling Work Suitability Pal on the Campfire and wait until the Pal is finished cooking the berries.
