Ramen VR is showing a peek at player housing, which will be introduced in Skyward Summit, Zenith: The Last City 's next major content update.
Player housing is something that has been revealed, but there haven’t been many details until now. This newly released video shows off parts of three player homes and how you’ll be able to decorate and personalize your own in-game space. Player housing in games is not a new thing, but the use of VR here does make things a little more personal for some when you can dive right in.
We see a furnished apartment in a city building. Later, we get a glimpse at the system you’ll use to decorate–a tablet with item listings, categories, and some costs. There are several categories: Structure, Furniture, Decor, Utility, Power, and Styles. Pick some items and lay them out in VR.
Of course, if you need to build up your place some more, that’s also going to be an option. Add some walls, move the doors over, and otherwise make the place yours.
Skyward Summit is currently in testing, and the only release window we have is Q2. This will be a huge update, and will add the new Cyber Ninja class, which wields a bow and kamas, for both ranged and melee combat options. The team released a brief kama cadence video preview the other day. Expect an overhaul to core combat in the update, designed to improve the flow of combat and add more options and strategies. The update will also add PvP to Zenith .
There are also some new lifeskills, like chopping wood, collecting ore, and farming. These also point to some additional layers and possibilities with crafting too. There’s a lot in this update, and looks to change a lot about Zenith: The Last City. The sheer size of the update and the amount of
