's upcoming DLC is due to arrive sometime this year with new story content, new locations, new gear, and more. Bethesda has yet to announce exactly when it will be released in 2024, but fortunately, players can dive into new side missions right now to pass the time.
There's no denying that has plenty for players to do when exploring the Settled Systems, from space battles to building outposts to farm a planet for resources, but with a game spanning 1000 planets, there's always room for more. remosito's mod adds up to 12 or 13 configurable missions for each type to the generic Mission Board.

Players can configure the mod's options via the Ship Terminal in their cockpit, picking just how many of each mission type they want to appear on the Mission Board at any given time, and automatically setting new side missions as active and tracking them via a blue dot.
Depending on the difficulty of the task and the risk involved, side missions are an extremely effective way of building up credits. 's base side missions are found on the major cities' boards, or in the bases of various factions, and while they are repeatable, since they are randomly generated quests, ensuring players will never run out of opportunities to earn more credits, they are often in the same nearby locations.
One of the main complaints players had about was how space seemed to feel incredibly empty outside of Bethesda's hand-crafted main locations, which is often something that modders are trying to fix by adding more events such as randomized space
