Microsoft has confirmed the list of new wave 2 games coming to throughout the final weeks of October 2023. The highlight of the list is Cities: Skylines 2 on PC, although there’s also the addition of Dead Space Remake on EA Play.
The first wave of Xbox Game Pass games for this month begins today, October 17, with the addition of the previously announced Like a Dragon Ishin! The highlights of the period don’t appear until later on as Dead Space Remake is added to EA Play and Cities: Skylines 2 becomes a day-one release on PC. Unfortunately, the Xbox Series X|S version of the latter won’t be released until Spring 2024.

As well as the new games, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members will be able to try out the EA Sports UFC 5: EA Play Early Access Trial, which will be available from October 24. Those who feel like purchasing the game after the trial can make use of the 10% discount for EA Play members.
Another Xbox Game Pass Ultimate perk will be leaving the pool soon. The Crunchyroll Mega Fan 75-days free perk will be removed on October 20, so make sure to activate it within the next three days if you haven’t already. The good news is that there’s a new perk in the form of the Smite – Season of Celebration Pack.
Finally, along with the good news comes the bad in the form of a list of five games that will be leaving Xbox Game Pass on October 31. The games that are shortly leaving the service are:
