The showcase opened with a look at the Happy Resort DonDoko Island mode for Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth. This alternate mode sees Kasuga taking a break from the Yakuza lifestyle to manage the titular resort. Players can customize the island, decorate Kasuga’s house, and befriend NPCs while occasionally fighting off uninvited guests. Infinite Wealth launches on January 26th, 2024.
Next up was the announcement trailer for Ikaro Will Not Die. Developed by FuturLab, the upcoming action game combines gravity surfing movement martial arts combos. FuturLab hasn’t revealed much about the game but calls it a spiritual sequel to the studio’s Velocity series.
The Xbox showcase continues with Still Wakes the Deep, a first-person survival-horror game arriving in early 2024. An oil rig struck something otherworldly in the North Atlantic, which seems to be driving workers mad. Players will need to survive the collapsing rig as they find a way to save themselves and their crew.
Launching on November 2nd, Robocop: Rogue City sees the titular cyborg on a mission to take down the city’s newest gang leader. Teyon’s upcoming first-person shooter has all the gunfire and one-liners that fans expect from an 80s movie adaptation. Actor Peter Weller reprises his role as the cyborg policeman.
Next was a showcase of Microbird Games’ Dungeons of Hinterberg, coming in 2024. This pastel-colored dungeon crawler sees protagonist Luisa dividing her time between action combat and befriending the locals.
