World of Warcraft Shares Embers of Neltharion Cinematic, 'Opening the Way' and Starts Events
World of Warcraft ’s Embers of Neltharion update is coming on May 2nd, and there's a brand new cinematic from the update to check out. There are also some events kicking off and some more previews to come this week.
The cinematic, “Opening the Way” is one way to introduce the next chapter in what comes after Dragonflight. “ As the Incarnates seek an edge in their campaign against the Dragon Aspects, the path to Neltharion’s laboratory is revealed beneath the Dragon Isles,” the official description reads. While that description tells you what’s up, the impact is greater when you watch this early cinematic unfold.
A centaur opens the scene, catching a glimpse of three figures on flight. He investigates, heading towards a flash of light and disturbance. He sees something up ahead, calls out to the trespasser and we see Fyrakk. After defying the callout, we see him, along with Vyranoth and Iridikron, seeking the path to Aberrus.
Vyranoth says “let us open the way”, and this sets their plans into motion, with a fiery dive by Fyraak. “Let the children of Neltharion claim their birthright,” Iridikron says, as we see more dracthyr seeing what has opened up.
It is an effective tease for what comes next, in just a couple of weeks, and we can expect more previews from Blizzard in the run up to the update. Tomorrow, there will be a preview of the Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible raid, along with raid schedule information. There will also be a preview along with that one of Dragonflight Season 2, which begins on May 9th. We can also expect a guideto cross-faction guilds and how that will all work,
