The vast majority of Magic: The Gathering’s next set has been leaked online, after a YouTuber managed to get his hands on a number of Collector’s booster boxes.
March of the Machine Aftermath is a mini-set follow-up to the recently released March of the Machine, tying up the story and exploring the multiverse following the defeat of the New Phyrexian invasion. Unfortunately, almost three quarters of the set has been leaked ahead of its formal reveal on May 1-2.

Posting a video of the box opening on YouTube, Oldschoolmtg claims he was sold the boxes by a friend, who mistakenly thought they were Collector’s boosters for the full March of the Machine set. Oldschoolmtg claims to have 22 of these boxes, although only opened one on-camera.
As March of the Machine Aftermath is only a 50-card mini set, the video shows off around 75 percent of the total cards, despite each pack only having six cards in them. This includes reprints, brand-new cards yet to be formally revealed, as well as a large number of legendary creatures. While we won’t be sharing any leaked cards here, he did pull multiple copies of the two cards Wizards has already shown off, The Kenrith’s Royal Funeral and Jolrael, Voice of Zhalfir.
A few details about March of the Machine Aftermath had already been released by Wizards before this leak. In the box shots released, Karn, Sarkhan Vol, Nissa and Nahiri (both un-compleated following March of the Machine) are shown alongside a symbol many are theorising means planeswalkers who have lost their ‘spark’ and become unable to travel the multiverse.
