Fishing is one of the main activities in , and finding a Goby is quite tricky. In the early game, it is an excellent source of income and the focus of multiple bundles in the Community Center. However, some fish are harder than others to find.
Goby stands out from other fish due to its poisonous nature. Eating it will actuallydecrease your Energy. However, at Iridium quality (without any professions), Goby can sell for 300g, making it a great fish to catch for money. The Angler profession bumps that price up to 450g. The problem comes with getting a Goby on your line.
Goby are available year-round but are restricted to a specific portion of Cindersap Forest, where you can catch some of the Legendary Fish of in Winter. Head south past Marnie's Ranch and Leah's House until you encounter the Abandoned House (where you can meet the Hat Mouse).
