Exoprimal may not be Capcom’s continuation of the Dino Crisis franchise that many fans hope it would be, but it will satisfy players dinosaur-slaying desire nonetheless. Exoprimal is a new Capcom IP about a group of soldiers in high-tech super-soldier armor fighting against an army of dinosaurs that fall from the sky. Yes, that is the premise of the game, and it is as ridiculous as it looks. Capcom is setting Exoprimal as its next big third-person shooter franchise, hoping it can capture the same player base as other shooters. The game will launch soon, so players better prepare their best armor to fight off the army of dinosaurs.

What is the Exoprimal Release date?A trailer for Exoprimal was revealed during Sony’s March 2022 State of Play, and no specific release date was given other than it is coming to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 sometime in 2023. Capcom wouldn’t launch the release date trailer for the game until a full year later, on March 2023. Exoprimal will launch on July 14, and besides PlayStation, the game will also release for the Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. The open beta for the game will become available to gamers on March 17 and last until March 19. Players can use full cross-platform matchmaking between Xbox and PlayStation.
The announcement trailer revealed that Exoprimal takes place in the year 2043, a time when raining dinosaurs are a common occurrence. It is up to a squadron of soldiers in exoskeleton suits to fight off the dinos.
