Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 voice actor Tony Todd may have let the upcoming game’s release window slip yesterday, but he has since been trying to downplay this revelation. Ever since the initial Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 trailer was released back in 2021, fans have been eagerly awaiting new information about Insomniac’s next open-world superhero epic. With Spider-Man 2 set to swing onto the PlayStation 5 later this year, the biggest question on everyone’s mind has been when exactly they can expect to don the iconic masks of Peter Parker and Miles Morales once more.
Insomniac has previously announced that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will launch sometime this fall, but it wouldn’t be until earlier this week that an exact release month was named. Horror movie veteran Tony Todd, who will voice the terrifying Venom in Spider-Man 2, recently let it slip on social media that Spider-Man 2 could launch in September after a major media push in August. This wasn’t the first time that the Candyman star has shared information about Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, as Todd previously teased the scale of the game and Venom’s brutality as he presumably seeks revenge against the two playable Spider-Men.

However, it appears that Tony Todd is now trying to retract his statements regarding Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s potential release date.
