We could get used to these four-day weeks at TSA Towers. Whatever week it is, it’s nice to have that Friday feeling come around just a little bit sooner, especially when it ties in with the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. I’ll be heading to Game later to pick up a copy, but I really do need to finish off my play-through of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order that I’ve desperately been trying to complete in order to justify buying Jedi: Survivor. Maybe I’ll just come home with two games?
Besides that I’ve been fallen under Grindstone’s hypnotic spell on PS5, indulging in some Black Desert on PC, played more Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp, and I’ve been thoroughly wowed by Call of the Mountain VR on PSVR2. If this is the quality of VR games going forwards, I think the silly hat will be on my head far more often than the last one!
That could be why I originally asked “hat have you played?” to the team, which led to Gareth telling me that he’s played one of those beer hats that you can put beers in, but with slushies. “Talk about brain freeze!” he quipped. After this ‘hilarious’ misunderstanding, he eventually told us, “I’ve also played Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which is very good, but isn’t polished enough, is buggy, and has some shockingly cheap mechanics in it that stop it being great.”
Nic B has gone back to perfecting his RE4 speedrun, inching towards the platinum whenever I can find a spare half-hour. He says, “I will have to put it down soon though, as Zelda is just around the corner and that is going to absorb all of my free time!”
