Tom Holland's appearance as Nathan Drake in the Uncharted movie is celebrated with a new action figure. After years in development hell, the adaption of the Uncharted video game franchise finally found its lead in Holland, with Mark Wahlberg appearing as Drake's mentor, Sully. The movie, which serves as something of an origin story for Drake and Sully, follows the duo as they race across the globe searching for treasure. Pursuing Drake and Sully is fellow treasure hunter Santiago Moncada (Antonio Banderas) and his gang of mercenaries, led by Jo Braddock (Tati Gabrielle). Despite mixed reviews, Uncharted is proving a box office success, with a strong opening weekend showing fans aren't put off by the movies poor critical reception.

And now, as per Diamond Select Toys, Holland's Drake has been immortalized in plastic, with a new action figure based on his Uncharted appearance. The 7-inch deluxe figure features both 16 points of articulation and interchangeable parts. Sticking closely to Drake's movie appearance, but also echoing the source material, the figure includes the character's iconic ring necklace, as well as his signature gun holsters. Uncharted's strong opening box office performance will certainly encourage Sony to consider future movies in its latest attempt to successfully adapt a video game to the big screen.
