Fortnite Adds New Spider-Man Content In "Amazing Web Week" Update
A new Spider-Man promotion is coming to Fortnite in the form of this week’s “Amazing Web Week” update. Epic’s massively successful multiplayer battle royale shooter has seen a wealth of new content over the past few months, including a crossover with the recent Uncharted movie and a guest appearance by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as the voice of The Foundation. This is all part of Fortnite’s Chapter 3 content, which began back in December and featured the citizens of The Island recovering after the many alien invasions and inter-dimensional threats that took place throughout Chapter 2.
Heralding this new Fortnite Chapter 3 content was the one and only Spider-Man, who swung onto Fortnite as a playable character skin when Chapter 3 began. In addition to multiple alternate costumes for Marvel’s iconic hero (including one based on Tom Holland’s appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home), Epic added a web-swinging mechanic, that many players feel is actually superior to the brought to Marvel’s Avengers, when Spidey arrived as a PlayStation-exclusive character late last year. Additionally, Spidey’s most infamous arch-enemy The Green Goblin was brought into Fortniteas yet another playable character skin in January, allowing fans to wreak havoc on the unlucky web-slinger with Norman Osborn's trademark Goblin Glider and Pumpkin Bombs.

Epic Games has just announced that more Spider-Man content is coming this week as part of the new Fortnite v19.40 — which was revealed on a post to the Fortnite Twitter account yesterday afternoon. Dubbed the “Amazing Web Week,” this special promotion is running from March 1 to March 8 and will offer up Spider-Man's Web-Shooters
