Spider-Man: No Way Home will be available to purchase digitally one week earlier than expected. The MCU film, which is the third entry in Tom Holland's solo Spider-Man trilogy, debuted in theaters on December 21 and follows Peter Parker as he asks Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to cast a spell that will make people forget his secret identity. When the spell goes awry, a multiversal rift causes villains from alternate universes, including the Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe) and Doc Ock (Alfred Molina), to arrive in Peter's world. He must team up with previous iterations of Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield) to try and stop them from wreaking havoc across New York City.
Spider-Man: No Way Home has had an unprecedented run in the box office, smashing profit records left and right. In addition to becoming the first film released in the pandemic era to cross the $1 billion mark, it quickly began to climb up the charts of the highest-grossing domestic films of all time. It is currently sitting at #3. And the movie is still currently #4 at the box office, proving that it has more juice left in its theatrical run.

Although Spider-Man: No Way Home's box office results are proof that theatrical distribution still has the potential to rake in physical ticket sales, the film had to come to digital eventually. The original date set for its video-on-demand release was March 22, 2022, just slightly over three months after its theatrical premiere. However, Vudu has revealed that the movie will be coming to digital purchase platforms one week early, on March 15. The purchase price will be $19.99 and there is no current date announced for
