Steve Fukuda was the director of Respawn Entertainment's excellent FPS series, Titanfall, and led development on both Titanfall and Titanfall 2. More recently, Fukuda has peeled off a small team of Respawn developers and is hard at work on a new IP, given the directive to «find the fun in something new».
The news comes to us by way of Axios, which published an interview with Respawn director Vince Zampella in which the studio boss dropped the tantalising tidbit.
Fans have been clamouring for another Titanfall game for years now, although the future of the series remains unclear. A new IP would be appreciated in the absence of that, though, wouldn't you agree? Let us know in the comments section below.
