The summer of 2023 is looking packed with major gaming events, with the likes of the PlayStation Showcase, Xbox Games Showcase, Summer Game Fest, and many others are scheduled for the coming weeks, but more will of course be following later on in the year. As Blizzard Entertainment has previously suggested, one of them will be BlizzCon.
After having been cancelled for two out of the last three years and having been an online-only event for one of them, Blizzard has announced that BlizzCon will be returning as a physical event to the Anaheim Convention Center on November 3-4. The developer says it will be sharing more details about the show next month, including ticketing information, cosplay and other competition details, and more.
BlizzCon has, of course, been host to a number of major announcements by Blizzard Entertainment over the years, and as the first BlizzCon since 2019, one would expect the company will have plenty in store for this year as well.
By the time the event comes around, the developer will have a number of major ongoing games to talk about, including the likes of Diablo 4, Overwatch 2, World of Warcraft, World of Warcraft Classic, and Diablo Immortal. Whether we also end up hearing about completely new titles remains to be seen.
