Mortal Kombat 12 is koming – but the twist is that it may not actually be named Mortal Kombat 12 at all! Following on from last week’s space dust teaser, developer NetherRealm has uploaded a short video of a clock counting backwards. As it gets to the 11 and tries to tick towards the 12, time jumps forward all the way to the 1. Could the game represent a reboot for the series’ convoluted timeline, then?
We should find out very soon. Speculation suggests the game will be announced this summer, either as part of some kind of PS Showcase or at any of the other events currently scheduled to take place in June. It definitely feels like the studio is building towards something now, and we know from publisher Warner Bros’ financial report that the title is targeting a release later this year.

As long as they include every single character from every single Mortal Kombat game as a playable character. They could also include a create your own character mode and include a crap ton of never seen before moves and finishing moves, babalities, friendships and brutalities. Customize everything about your character and have a whole story mode based on your own creation joining the Mortal Kombat tournament and climbing the ranks or something. Every other character needs to have updated finishing moves and new finishing moves. Every character should have a minimum of 4 finishing moves (not including babalities, frienships and brutalities) and they should have the finishing moves be done at different spots on the
