Thrustmaster has partnered with Ferrari to deliver a livery-specific sim racing wheel for its T818 base. This will launch in June as the T818 will come bundled with the SF1000 formula wheel add-on, which will also be a replica of Ferrari’s actual racing wheel. The SF100 will feature an interactive 4.3-inch screen that will show up to 69 pieces of information. It also includes 15 LEDs for engine speed that also includes flag warning lights. This will be Thrustmaster’s first attempt into direct drive bases. The T818 will include a new “Fast Release” wheel attachment that offers forward and backwards-compatibility with Thrustmaster pedal sets, shifters and handbrakes.
This wheel setup is available for pre-order in North America and the UK on June 12 with the official launch on July 12. Europe can pre-order on May 15 as it will launch on June 14. Finally, Australia can pre-order on June 5 and the setup will launch on July 5. It will release elsewhere in the world by the end of the year. The T818 Ferrari SF1000 Simulator will retail for $1,099.99.
