Microsoft has announced more details on its gaming showcases in June, which include the main Xbox Games Showcase, the Starfield Direct, and an Xbox Games Showcase Extended showing.
The Xbox Games Showcase kicks things off on Sunday, June 11, starting at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. The Starfield Direct will follow immediately after. However, Microsoft did not say how long the Xbox Games Showcase will run for, so we don't know when the Starfield Direct will begin.
«Join us for some new surprises and first-looks from our incredibly talented internal studios, and our many creative partners around the world,» Microsoft said of the Xbox Games Showcase.
The Starfield Direct, meanwhile, will provide «much, much more» information on Starfield, including «tons of new gameplay, developer interviews, and behind-the-scenes insider information.»
The Xbox Games Showcase Extended, meanwhile, is set for Tuesday, June 13 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. There will be «in-depth interviews» covering news from the Xbox Games Showcase, along with «game updates» from Xbox partners. This event is happening one day after Ubisoft Forward on Monday, June 12.
The Xbox Games Showcase and Starfield Direct will be available in over 30 languages, while American Sign Language, British Sign Language, and English Audio descriptions will be available, too.
Finally, Microsoft is hosting virtual and in-person FanFest events in 2023 for the Xbox Games Showcase briefings. People can watch the events live and in person in Los Angeles, Mexico City, São Paulo, Melbourne, and Warsaw. People can sign up at the Xbox FanFest website to enter for a chance to get in.
