Fortnite was Luna customers' most-requested game, and now it's here.

Epic's massively popular battle royale game Fortnite continues to expand. Epic and Amazon have announced that Fortnite is now available through the cloud gaming service Amazon Luna. This comes just as Fortnite celebrates Star Wars Day with a bunch of new cosmic items.
Fortnite is available on Luna in the US, Canada, Germany, and the UK. Anyone with a Prime membership can play Fortnite through Luna, and everyone else can sign up for Luna+ ($10/month) to get started. Alternatively, for people who want to play outside the Luna ecosystem, Fortnite is free across all consoles and PC.
On Xbox, Fortnite is available via Microsoft's cloud gaming service. Unlike other titles in the catalog, Fortnite does not require a Game Pass Ultimate membership to stream.
Amazon boss Daniel Rausch said Fortnite was the most-requested game from Luna customers in the US. «We're committed to making gaming more accessible and more affordable, without the need for expensive hardware,» Rausch said.
Luna is compatible with a number of devices, including smart TVs, tablets, laptops, PCs, MacBooks, Chromebooks, and via browsers for iPhone and Android phones. You can see the full list of Luna's supported devices here. Games can be played with Amazon's own Luna controller or PlayStation and Xbox controllers. Mouse and keyboard is supported too.
In other Amazon gaming news, Prime members can download a series of free games this month as part of their membership, including Lego DC Super-Villains, Resident Evil 2, Overcooked, and Tim on Frog Island.
