The God of Hammers has arrived in the Marvel Universe and turned Thor's hammer Mjolnir into a weapon that he can't stop. In Thor #21, the God of Thunder tries to stop the living embodiment of Mjolnir from causing more death across the Ten Realms. However, he quickly finds out the hammer he once controlled with ease has become a bigger, more dangerous problem than ever before.
In his current ongoing series at Marvel Comics, Thor's hammer has increasingly become a bigger problem for the hero. The All-Father struggled to control Mjolnir as it became more and more unpredictable as its enchantment faded — even being wielded by the unworthy. Eventually, Thor decided to leave his trusted weapon with the Avengers as the God of Hammer's prophecy grew, foretelling the King of Asgard's death. However, Mjolnir immediately went missing and Thor soon discovered it was causing death and destruction across the Ten Realms. When Thor finally came face-to-face with Mjolnir, he learned it became the God of Hammers, a new threat who quickly proves to be serious trouble for the hero.

In Thor #21 by Donny Cates, Nic Klein, Matt Wilson, and VC's Joe Sabino, Thor's confrontation with the living embodiment of Mjolnir is underway.
