Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost star in a hilarious Super Bowl ad for Amazon's Alexa. Johansson is best known for portraying Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe whileJost hosts the Weekend Update on Saturday Night Live. The famous couple got married in 2020 and have been dating since 2018.
A new commercial from Amazon is set in Johansson and Jost's home, where they experience day-to-day aspects of life with an Alexa device that can read their mind. At first, it's pretty cool — the Alexa knows how to prepare for the pair's typical gameday celebrations without even being told. However, it turns weird when the device starts revealing truths about their innermost thoughts, often causing tension between the two.

In one scene, Johansson is shown practicing lines for a show she says opens March 8 in front of her husband. Alexa immediately speaks up, "setting a reminder to fake your own death on March 8," insinuating that Jost has no desire to go. In another moment, Jost asks his wife about her love scenes with other actors. When she says that filming those scenes is "the worst," Alexa starts playing «Little Lies» by Fleetwood Mac.
The ad is pretty genius as it pokes fun at the idea that Alexas and other home tech devices listen to people at all times, even if they aren't speaking. As is typical with Super Bowl commercials, the new ad humanizes two household names by poking fun at the absurd aspects of their private lives.
