The Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Super Bowl trailer conceals as much as it reveals — and that isn't a glimpse of the Human Torch. The multiverse lies at the heart of the MCU's Phase 4, a prospect that clearly terrifies Doctor Strange — but has left fans absolutely thrilled. It's already led to an unforgettable cross-dimensional team-up in Spider-Man: No Way Home, with Tom Holland's Spider-Man fighting alongside Tobey Maguire's and Andrew Garfield's.
That, of course, raises the prospect that every Marvel film or TV series is actually part of the wider MCU multiverse — and that there will be further team-ups. The Doctor Strange 2 Super Bowl trailer, supports this theory, with Doctor Strange brought before some sort of multiversal tribunal and addressed by a voice that's instantly recognizable — Patrick Stewart, who played Professor X in Fox's X-Men movies. But another moment has caught viewers' attention as well, a glimpse of a mysterious fiery being. There's been some speculation this could be the Human Torch, a key member of the Fantastic Four.

This is not a version of the Human Torch, however. This mysterious being is shown blasting through some sort of barrier with what appears to be superhuman strength, and although their body seems to be burning with some sort of cosmic flame their hands are shimmering with blue energy. They're capable of flight, but they don't leave the traditional Human Torch's fire-trail behind them. Whoever they are, though, they may well be fighting on the side of the angels; they unleash a devastating attack on Scarlet Witch, who Doctor Strange 2's Super Bowl trailer hints is taking a heel turn.
