With the finale of Love Is Blind season 2 finally out, Salvador Perez is opening up about how he made the last minute decision to say no to Mallory Zapata at the altar. Season 2 has had its fair share of characters, and Sal became a fan favorite for his genuine charm and good-natured attitude. As soon as he entered the pod, Sal quickly started prioritizing Mallory, who was caught between two men. Sal never wavered on his connection with her, and the two shared quite a bit in common including their Hispanic background. However, it was Mallory who seemingly fell for two people, with Jarrette Jones also proposing to her. Fans were adamant he deserved better and needed to be protected, but in the finale, Sal proved can protect himself. On the altar, a teary-eyed Sal said «I cannot» to Mallory when the officiant asked if he would take her hand in marriage, and the wedding ended right there.
